Using Trailer Brake Assembly on Opposite Side of Trailer
Question:
I have two Dexter right hand electric brake assemblies, can I reverse one assembly to left hand?

The brake assemblies are specific to the correct side of the trailer, a right hand brake assembly could not be used on the left side of the trailer. The assembly should be mounted so the magnet is at the bottom and the larger of the two brake pads is pointing to the rear of the trailer. I've heard of folks mounting the assembly upside down on the opposite side of the trailer, but the brake assembly will never work correctly if installed that way.
