Choosing a New A-Frame Trailer Jack with 2-1/4-Inch Outer Tube and 2-Inch Inner Tube
Question:
I am looking for a new a frame jack. There are two holes in the frame. The top is 2 1/4inch and the bottom hole is 2. Is that standard??

A-frame jacks usually have 3-point attachment holes on either a round or triangular mounting plate. Examples of each are part # SC63VR from Stromberg Carlson, and part # PS1400600303 from Pro Series. These plates are mounted on the jack's larger outer tube, often the 2-1/4-inch diameter you reference. The jack's inner tube will then be a smaller 2-inch diameter. This is a common configuration.
