Does this product cover the entire cargo area with rear seats in the down position on a 2012 dodge journey stx not crew.

The WeatherTech Cargo Area Floor Mat you referenced, part # WT40398 is designed to cover the entire cargo area behind the second row of seats. The third row needs to be folded down in order for the mat to fit correctly. I've checked through the rest of the cargo area mats offered for your Journey, and they all would fit the same way.
The mat is a fit for all models of the 2012 Dodge Journey.
