Should a Bike Rack be Removed before Going Through an Automatic Car Wash

Question:

If I want to remove the trike carrier because I am going on a trip and dont need it, how easy is it to remove. Also, how does the carrier affect taking my car to a car wash. Is that possible or does it have to be removed. I have a Mercedes C 300 Sport sedan 4matic 2013

Removing the Hollywood Racks Trike Carrier part # HR1000Z-R-TRKADP that you referenced is pretty easy. Basically you would just need to reverse the installation.

It would be just a matter of removing the hitch pin bolt and then sliding the rack out of the hitch.

You definitely would want to remove the rack before going through an automatic car wash.
