2011 Ford F-250 with Hitch Prep Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation
Question:
I have a 2011 F250 with the factory gooseneck hitch but not the fifth wheel hitch prep. What fifth wheel rail kit do I need to buy that will be compatible with the factory gooseneck brackets?

If your 2011 Ford F-250 does in fact have the factory gooseneck hitch it would have the rail kit for installing a fifth wheel hitch as well. Either you have an aftermarket gooseneck hitch then, or you it's possible you didn't notice the 4 pucks around the gooseneck ball that would be for installing a fifth wheel hitch.
If you have the 4 round pucks in your bed then the correct hitch you would need would be the Reese Slider hitch part # RP30144. You'll need a slider hitch so that you can make tight turns without cab interference.
If you have an aftermarket gooseneck there is a possibility an adapter could work for you, but I would need to know the brand of hitch first.
