We have several kayak carriers that will fit the factory crossbars on your 2006 Chrysler Town and Country.
My recommendation for a kayak carrier would be the Rhino-Rack J-Style Fixed Kayak Carrier, # S510. This is a price-friendly carrier that will hold one kayak. We also offer the folding style carrier, # S512 for another option. This allows you to fold down the upper bar of the carrier in order to decrease wind noise and resistance, as well as lower your vehicle's clearance height. Both of these carriers will work on your factory crossbars.
Sometimes, bow and stern tie-down points can be difficult to find. I recommend either the Hood Loops, # TH529, or the etrailer tie-down kit that has straps and soft foam hood loops that close inside of your hood or hatch to make securing your kayak easier and without damaging your vehicle.
I have attached a link to all of our kayak carriers that are recommended for factory style crossbars.
