Do You Hook Up Weight Distribution First or Inflate Air Bags First on a Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a Toyota tundra with ride rite air bags on the rear of the vehicle. I am pulling a 28 ft. Toy hauler with a Reeses equalizer hitch. What do I need to do when hooking up. Do I leave first with air bags?

Expert Reply:
What you will need to do is couple the trailer to your Tundra and then use the air bags to level the vehicle as needed. Then you would engage the spring bars on the weight distribution system. You then may or may not have to adjust the air pressure in the air bags.
