Using Two Figo # GU12000 Bike Storage Racks for Bike with Oversize Top Tube
Question:
I have seen that 1 of these racks can hold my bike. My concern and why I am asking, is have you heard/have any concerns about the stress holding a 30 pound bike by one point could possible have on the frame of the bike? I am considering if I need to buy 2 of these, one for the seatpost and the other for the handlebar stem to minimize the stress I am placing on the frame of the bike.......any thoughts appreciated. Pic attached. Not traditional tubes. Best Regards

I've spoken with my contact at GearUp, the manufacturer of the # GU12000 bike storage rack. I was told that because the bike will just be hanging from the rack, but won't be receiving any jarring or shocks, you won't need two of the racks (if using two of them would make you feel more secure, by all means, do so.)
A less expensive alternative than purchasing two of the racks would be to use a bike frame adapter bar, like part # 64005. Attach one end to the seat post, the other to the handlebar stem and suspend the bike from the adapter bar.
