Timbren Helper Spring Recommendation for a 2002 Ford Windstar

Question:

Hello, I recently purchased the Timbren suspension assist system and just started to install. But the basic installation instructions do not seem to match how my vehicles existing suspension is set up. The instructions state to remove existing axle bumps. The only way I can see to do this is tear them off. I also do not see any place to mount the Timbren assembly without an additional bracket of sorts. Are there more detailed instructions available? My vehicle info: 2002 Ford Windstar SEL 3.8L thank you

The Timbren system part # TFRWIN that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2002 Ford Windstar.

On the axle where the old bump stop was located there will be a plate that has a bolt hole that the mounting bracket of the # TFRWIN will install into. There should be a bolt that secures the current bump stop and bracket to the axle that would need to get removed.
