Reese Revolution Pin Box and Wedge has to be Lined Up Perfectly with Reese 16k Slider Hitch

Question:

must be aligned perfectly or wedge jams on receiver. does anyone make a receiver that connects more easily or should we replace the revolution with the old style pin box?

Like you said, the wedge on the Revolution/Sidewinder pin boxes can cause hitching issues if not lined up just right. Going with a hitch that has a wider funnel might help but it is possible that you will run into the same issue.

If you do not need the Revolution pin box in order to be able to make tight turns then you could replace it with a standard pin box or you could stop using the wedge and instead lock out the turret on the Revolution so that it will instead pivot at the hitch like a normal pin box. Take a look at the picture I have included for more information.

The bolts in this case are 3/4" - 10 x 5-1/2 and are included on OEM versions (Revolution) unless removed by the RV dealer. You would also need 3/4" - 10 hex nuts, 3/4 inch lock washers, and 3/4 inch flat washers to lock out the turret.
