How to Install a Brake Controller in a 2011 Ford F-150
Question:
What else do I need to hook up a 2011 F150 XLT Ecoboost. It has the 7 point and 4 point harness already. i assume i just need this unit correct? or do i need something to connect this unit to the towing pigtail somewhere under my dash in the truck? lastly I do not need to flash any software in my truck correct? The OEM units I know that you do, so just making sure Thank you

The Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885 would be a great choice for a brake controller for your 2011 Ford F-150. All you would need to install the controller is the correct install harness, part # 22292. There would be no need for you to flash the computer of your truck either.
I attached an install video that shows how these two products would install in a 2011 Ford F-150 just like yours as well. You will need to connect the harness under the dash of your truck.
