Sidewinder Recommendation for 2014 Ram Sport Short Bed Towing 2001 Jayco Eagle w/ Leland 7920 Pinbox

I have a 2014 ram sport with a 5.5 box the trailer I want to purchase is a 2001 jayco eagle 243 Im told I need a sidewinder for clearence the trailer has a Leland 7920 pin just wondering which one I would need and cost ?

Yes, that is correct, in order to make tight turns when towing the 2001 Jayco Eagle with your 2014 Ram Sport that has a 5-1/2 ft bed, a Sidewinder would be needed.

By using a Sidewinder, the pivot point of the trailer is moved 22 inches further away from the cab of the truck which allows for better turning radius. To ensure that you will be able to execute a 90-degree turn once the Sidewinder is installed, I have attached a help article which includes the clearance formula.
