If you are getting 2-5/8 inches from the center of one hole to the center of the adjacent hole on your wheels then you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. It is hard to measure the bolt circle across the wheel if the wheel has an odd number of holes. I have linked a help article on measuring for bolt pattern for you.

Based on your 2-5/8 measurement indicating a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern the Fulton spare tire carrier # FHDSTC0101 will work since on 5-lug wheels it will ONLY fit the 5 on 4-1/2 pattern. The only other 5 bolt patterns are 5 on 4-3/4 (rare), 5 on 5 (not as rare), and 5 on 5-1/2 (very rare). There isn't a 5 on 4-1/4 inch for trailer wheels.

The carrier fits tongues/frames up to 3" wide x 5" high. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.

How exactly are you measuring the distance between those bolts - center to center, just the space in between, etc? I copied a link below that shows how to properly measure the pattern on 5 bolt wheels like yours. If you find that you have a 5 on 4-1/2" pattern like above then the carrier Michael mentioned will work great. If not, let me know and we'll go from there.
