Can the Curt X5 Adapter be Used with a Pullrite Superglide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch
Question:
Can I use the Curt X5 B&W adapter with a Pullrite Superglide 15K? What will the contact to the bed do? Does it stay tight to the bed or move a bit?

The Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter for B and W Square Shank Turnover Ball Hitches, # 16310, is designed for use with B and W square shank turnover ball hitches. We spoke with Curt and they stated the Pullrite 5th wheel hitch is not compatible with the X5.
The reason is because the rails that are required for use with the Pullrite 18k Hitch are of a completely design than what comes on this # 16310.
The rails on the pull rite are more of a male connector style while the hitch is female. Whereas, the rails of the X5 are more of a female design withe hitch being male. So there is no way it would work.
The Curt X5 has rubber pads on each of the four feet cushion the contact between the unit and the truck bed. The adapter should remain tight to the bed while towing.
