Troubleshooting Trailer Brake Light that is Dimly Lit
Question:
My driver side brake light works on my trailer when I apply the brakes, but the passenger side brake light is very dim. Any ideas why?

I would be willing to bet the passenger side taillight on your trailer has a bad ground. What you will need to do is check that the assembly is grounding to a clean metal surface. Some assemblies ground through their mounting hardware so you will need to make sure the light is attached to a clean metal surface as well.
