Where Does Blue Wire on 4-Pole to 5-Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter Attach On 2013 Acura MDX
Question:
I cant figure out how to connect the blue wire to vehicles backup light circuit. Can I use it with a 12V cigarette lighter power cord DC 2.1mm Female, 3 Amp fuse and plug it in only when i shift the vehicle into reserve?

It is not recommended to connect the blue wire from the 4-Pole to 5-Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter, part # 47515 to any wiring other than the wire for your reverse lights on your 2013 Acura MDX.
You will need to locate the wiring for the taillight behind the taillight housing and use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to find the wire that only has power when the vehicle is placed in reverse. You can use the included quick splice connector to attach the blue wire to and then simply plug the connector into the 4-way at the rear of your vehicle. This will give you a 5-way connector for your trailer harness.
