Will Having Rear Hatch Open All Night on 2014 Nissan Murano with Tent Installed Drain Battery

Question:

I was wondering how to get around the problem of- When I open the hatch of my 14Nissan Murano, the hatch interior and even a dash board warning signals that my hatch is open. So how do I go about not draining my vehicles battery while the tent is connected? I could disconnect the battery but I would like to actually use an inverter to keep cell phones charged and use a fan for circulation for a couple hours over the weekend. I have a good battery, but I wouldnt necessarily want to have a drain on the battery all weekend. Besides I definitely dont want to attrack more bugs than necessary and am too old to sleep with a nightlight. Thanks guyz!

For the interior lights there is usually a switch that will let you select what the light does including on with doors open, on with the button pushed only, or completely off. That would take care of that light. The dash lights are a different story. Short of pulling the fuse(s) related to the lights or disconnecting the battery there really isn't an easy way to shut them off.
