Optimal Mounting Location for Transmission Cooler on 2006 Buick Rendezvous
Question:
when installing cooler will i need to take the grill off and the fenders or can i just install it without removing anything and does it go in front of the existing radiator??

The best spot to install the transmission cooler is in front of the radiator, where it will get maximum air flow. If necessary it can be mounted behind the radiator, if there is sufficient clearance for installation.
Installing the cooler in front of your radiator would almost certainly involve removing the grille and possibly the front fascia under the bumper to improve access.
