What are the Dimensions of the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Bike Carrier when Folded Up

Question:

What are the dimensions of the HR1000 when it is folded for garage storage wheel hoops folded up/together and receiver tube folded up? Im mostly interested in dimension Cfoot in the attached photo. Thanks.

I went out to our demo area to take some measurements of the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HR1000Z.

The overall height when folded up and the wheel cradles slid down is 33-1/2 inches. The overall width is 8-5/8 inches. And the shank does fold up and when it is folded the carrier measures 24-1/2 inches front to back.

Good morning. I noted your reply favoring Swagmann XTC2 over this one. I also noticed that HR1000Z comes with hitch lock, bike locks and anti rattle pin which you end up buying separately if you buy Swagmann XTC2. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

You're absolutely correct. The Hollywood Racks # HR1000Z includes both a hitch and bike lock while both would need to be added separately with the Swagman XTC2 carrier. I would honestly go with the Hollywood Racks model.
