I need a custom fit 5th wheel installation kit for a 1998 chevy silverado c2500 4x4 short bed 6-1/2 bed. I have a Reese 16k hitch.

For your 6-1/2 foot bed the Reese universal base rail installation kit is # RP30035. These base rails will accommodate any fifth wheel hitch that uses the industry standard base rails and will work well with your Reese fifth wheel hitch.
