Can Anti-Sway Cradles be Added to the Swagman Titan Bike Carrier
Question:
I will be using the Swagman Titan on a GMC Yukon XL. I would like to add a couple anti sway cradles to minimize bike sway once loaded and moving. Can you tell me the part # to order and size, and how to install them please? Looks like you provide them on some carriers but not others. Too bad. How do you address bike sway without them?

I have good news. Even though the Titan is Swagman's bargain carrier, it comes with anti-sway cradles that rotate and slide along the dual arms to perfectly position your bikes. The cradles include durable rubber straps to hold your bikes firmly in place on the rack. The cradles secure each bike at three places (twice along the top tube and once at the seat post or downtube), keeping your bikes from rocking back and forth and preventing bike-to-bike contact.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
