Rise Adapter for a 2 inch Hitch Bike Rack for Better Ground Clearance
Question:
My bike rack is too low. When we drive the Subaru Forester off the end of our drive, the bikes on the rack will hit the ground. I thought Code: 59519 would work, but our receiver is 2. The bike rack is 1-1/4inch What do you advise? Also, need appropriate anti-raddle devices. Thought about buying new rack but didnt think new racks would solve the height problem.

The best recommendation I can make for a 2 inch hitch to make the bike rack be held a bit higher would be the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount part # D210. This will give you 6 inches of rise to your bike rack setup and won't cut the capacity of the hitch in half like most similar adapters do.
Bike rack anti-rattle devices are usually model specific, so without knowing what bike rack you have it would be hard for me to pick out the correct one to use.
