Replacement Keys and Mounting Hardware for Karrite Cargo Box
Question:
Hi Just bought a used explorer by karrite cargo box but it did not come with the keys I know you sell replacement locks and keys. Are the new lock set one size fits all or do I need to find a serial number? I also need replacement mounting hardware for the explorer by karrite is it the same as the SportRack Aero Cargo Carriers?

Expert Reply:
Karrite cargo boxes were made by SportRack and so they share common hardware.
For mounting hardware you can use part # TH04997 which includes bolts, plates and knobs.
Keys can be ordered based on your lock core number. This appears on the face of the lock. For example, if your lock core shows a number 2854, then you would need part # THKEYN2854. Just find your lock code and add it to the letters THKEYN to find your correct keys.
