2 Bike Rack for a 21 Foot Trailer With 13 Inch Spare Tire Above the Rear C-Channel Bumper

Question:

I have a flat rear bumper with a 1 1/2 top and bottom lip with a spare 13 tire mounted in the middle of the trailer just above the bumper. Please advise what model bike rack do I need. Thanks.

The bumper mount racks require a 4 to 4-1/2 inch square, welded steel bumper. If your bumper will not work with the those racks, the best solution is to add a trailer hitch and hitch mount bike rack. The best RV hitch depends on if you want a bumper mount or frame mount hitch. I recommend a frame mount hitch for more stability and weight capacity. I have included a link below to the available frame mount RV hitches.

With a hitch installed, you could add a rack like the Swagman XC, # S64650. This platform rack will hold 2 bikes, secures the bike at the wheels and frame, and is rated for use behind an RV. It has 10-1/2 inches of clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the first wheel loop. I have included a video review and installation detail links below.
