Bunk Roller Recommendations for a Boat Trailer to Help Boat Load on Trailer

Question:

I have a Rivers and Streams 14 foot trailer sold locally by Fleet Farm here in MN, It has two four foot bunk slides that I want to upgrade to rollers, as it is too difficult to slide on the bunks. I am looking at the item# DL21740 for the 4 foot rollers. Do you think these will work on the Rivres and Streams trailer frame? Also, Id like a recommendation for a good keel guide/roller to get the boat started straight on the trailer. My boat has a keel roller and the boat often drifts off the roller before it contacts the bunks. Please advise. Thank you. Jim Koenig Forest Lake, MN

Upgrading a boat trailer from wood bunks to roller bunks is a very common modification so the part # DL21740 that you referenced should work very well for you.

We sell several keel rollers that would work for you. But you would need to first determine what size you need by measuring the length and diameter of your current one and the diameter shank it is designed to fit so that you can follow the link I attached and pick out the correct size replacement. You might go with one slightly thicker than what you currently have to provide better contact. Especially since adding rollers to your trailer will cause it to sit a bit higher on your trailer than before.
