Recommended 2-Bike Hitch Rack for Heavy Bikes
Question:
Im looking for a 2 bike rack for a 2006 Lexus RX 400h. Both bikes are heavier than 35-lbs, and the electric is 61-lbs with the battery. I have a 2inch hitch. Im interested in a rack that is easy to take on and off since I would not leave it on the car.

There is one class-leading hitch bike rack that is ideal for heavy bikes such as electrics that I tend to often recommend because of how happy customers are with it. The EasyFold # TH903202 from Thule is a premium quality 2-bike platform style rack that is so well thought out it could be the last rack you ever have to buy.
The EasyFold has many features that simply are not found on most bike racks.
It will fit both 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches.
It handles heavier bikes up to 65-lbs each.
It includes a built-in loading ramp (that stores in the rack) so you never have to lift the bikes.
It folds up to a very compact size.
It has built-in wheels that make it easy to roll around the garage.
Locks are included for both the rack and for your bikes.
It features a foot-operated tilt mechanism for easy access to your vehicle.
It weighs only 45-lbs.
You can refer to the linked video and photo to see all of these features and the easy operation of this premier bike carrier. The EasyFold has a limited lifetime warranty from Thule.
When loading your bikes I recommend loading the heavier bike on the inside rail, closer to the vehicle.
