The 6-way side of the cable included in the Hopkins Tow Bar Extension Cord # HM47057 is wired with 12V power on the center pin. This plug can be re-configured if desired by disassembling it and re-pinning it. I confirmed this with my contact at Hopkins. The 12V pin on the 7-way connector is the one at the 1-o-clock position in the 7-way socket, as shown in the linked photo.
