Mounting Orientation For Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler Head
Question:
What is the correct orientation for welding this coupler to the coupler tube? It looks to me that the handle should be pointing forward so that the gooseneck ball will be pressing against solid portion of the coupler when moving forward and not against the coupler locking shaft. Is this correct or doesnt it matter?

When installing the Bulldog Gooseneck Coupler Head, part # BDGN240200, you will place the flat side toward the trailer and the handle should be on the driver side.
The handle on the driver side makes it easier for the driver to operate instead of making someone have to go all the around the truck or trailer to use the handle.
