Replacement Round Spring Bars for Reese Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
I have a Reese hitch, not sure of model, may read 112746 but it has a 2 5/16-inch ball I believe hard to read, with 750 lbs. spring bars that are L shaped at the hitch end, and from underneath, and turn back toward trailer to lock. I had a 700 lb tongue wt. trailer, but now have a 990lbe tongue wt. need with newer 7400 lb. trailer. Can I purchase a heavier set of spring bars for this style and wt.? If so what is the part # and Price each? Thank you.

Thank you for the photo of your Reese weight distribution hitch head assembly. This head uses round-style spring bars (ones with the L-bend at the head end) and we do offer a bar that works for a tongue weight (TW) range of 600 to 1200-lbs, which is ideal for your 990-lb TW. Reese is no longer making the larger replacement spring bars, so you will need to upgrade your entire system. Click on the link provided to see pricing.
