What is Minimum Clearance Between Rear Corner of Truck and Trailer for 5th Wheel Towing
Question:
We have a 2010 dodge crew cab long bed big horn and we bought a 2010 montano fifth wheel my concern is the distance between the tailgate and the camper w the tailgate down we have 3 inches I know u dont drive w it down but even w it up it just did not seem farm enough away for when we need to make a turn. Please advise.

The recommended clearance from the rear corner of your truck bed to your fifth wheel trailer when in a turn is 4 inches. If you have 3 inches from the corner of your tailgate to the trailer with it DOWN then with it up you should be just fine.
