How Does the Optronics Light STL69RRXB Install in It's Chrome Base
Question:
How does the STL69RRXB taillight mount inside of the A69RXCB chrome base plate? I currently have a travel trailer with strip lights similar to these. One is swimming in moisture on the inside but still working I think. They surface mount on 14.5 inch centers. Im hoping to be able to use the mounting plate and light fixture by using one of the existing holes and cover the other with the plate. I will have to drill a new hole for to finish the installation. Sound feasible?

To install the Optronics Trailer Lights # STL69RRXB in the Chrome Base # A69RXCB you would need to feed the wires through the middle slot and then run mounting hardware through the holes on either side of the light and then through the bracket.
The mounting holes are 15 inches apart and the light is 1-5/8 inches wide. Your current setup would need to match that for it to just bolt right up.
