Best Spare Tire Bike Rack Option for 2002 Honda CR-V and is Bike Adapter Bar Needed

I was looking at the Thule 2 bike spare tire mount rack and was wondering if this was the best option for my 2002 Honda CR-V? I would be carrying 2 female rider bikes. Would I have to buy an adapter for this to work? Thanks
