Can Bulb on Optronics 7-Function Light # ST7RB Be Replaced
Question:
My trailer light lens is marked J 2024 on the top portion of the lens cover and DOT ASTI 96 on the bottom of the lens cover. Can I just replace the bulb or do I need to replace the whole tail light assembly? All lights work but the right turn signal. So, I was trying to pull the bulb out and it will not come out. Afraid to get to aggressive with it in fear of breaking the bulb. Can you help me?

In order to tell you for sure if the light bulb can be replaced we will need to determine exactly which light that you have. You will want to look on the actual light housing for the manufacture name and model number. Trailer light lens can typically be used on multiple different light housings so with just the numbers from lens I can not be certain as to which light you have.
If you do determine that you have the Optronics Submersible, Trailer Stop, Turn, Tail and License Plate Light, 7-Function, # ST7RB, which you referenced, then yes, the bulb can be replaced. I decided to grab one of the lights from the warehouse and found that you must push down on the bulb and then turn to release it from the little hook that is on the fixture. Don't make the same mistake that I first did and try to turn while pushing because it won't work. Push down and then turn and you should have no trouble removing the bulb.
