Weight Distribution for Toyota Highlander Sport and 4,400 Pound Travel Trailer

I have a Toyota Highlander Sport which is a front 2 wheel drive model. Would this distribution system be able to level our 4400 LB Airstream trailer?

Pro Series weight distribution system # PS49901 is rated for up to 550 pounds tongue weight. If the tongue weight of the trailer is under 550 pounds then the Pro Series system will work well for you.
When calculating tongue weight for a weight distribution system you take the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and add to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
Trailer tongue weight is typically 10 to 15 percent of the gross trailer weight so on a 4400 pound trailer that would be 440 to 660 pounds. If the total tongue weight on your trailer is over 550 pounds you would step up to the next highest rated system, # PS49582, rated for 550 to 750 pounds.
