How to Determine if Thule Cargo Box Will Fit a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali without Hatch Interference

What size Thule and car top carriers can I fit on my 2015 GMC Arcadia Denali without interferring with the opening of the rear door? I am also concerned about the antennae sticking out the roof a little short of the rear door. Is there a measurement I can do?

Yes, there is a measurement you can take to determine which boxes will fit without interference with the hatch or the antenna on your 2015 GMC Acadia Denali. First, if the crossbars that run side to side on the roof can be moved, move the front bar as far forward as it will go. Then measure from the center of that front bar straight back to the nearest potential obstruction.

Compare your measurement to the front clearance requirements listed in the chart I have linked. The measurement you take will have to be greater than the measurements in that chart for the box to fit without issues.
