2004 GMC Sierra Quad Cab 2500 SLT with 6.5 bed Tork Lift Tie Down Recommendation
Question:
I just bought this truck used. It has a factory installed hitch. I used Happijacs on my old 1992 F250, but wanted to go with Torklifts to get away from having to drill. I see from the parts selection that drilling will be required. How difficult will this be if I dont have access to a lift and would have to drill at ground level? Am I going to save myself a rough day by having a shop install them if I purchase them? Thanks!

Installing the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs #TLC2207 wouldn't be too difficult. If you check out the installation instructions link that I attached you will see the entire process for installing this kit. At no point do they recommend jacking the vehicle up so you should be just fine without a lift.
