Hanger Dimension Recommendation for Installing Slipper Springs SP-179275

Question:

The specification for the SP-179275 slipper spring indicate that there is 23-1/8inch between the center of the front bolt eye and the high point of the tail. Is that also the proper mounting distance between the center of the bolt hole on the front hanger bracket and the center of the rear bracket? In other words, is the high point of the unloaded slipper spring tail supposed to sit at the center of the rear bracket, or is the center of the rear bracket offset a bit towards the rear of the trailer with respect to the high point of the tail? Im using a bolt on bracket part # CE14017G.

Yes, you would want the hangers used for installing the Slipper Springs part # SP-179275 that you referenced to be 23-1/8 inches apart when installing these springs on your trailer.

I attached a review video for you to check out and a help article on slipper suspension systems as well.
