Recommended Base Plates and Accessories for Flat Towing 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Behind a Motorhome
Question:
I Recently purchased a used RV with a Sterling by roadmaster tow bar system, Including a brakemaster 9000 SN 7214. What wiring kits and tow bar adaptor kits will I need for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Series Vehicle? So fair I believe I need a 521440-1B. Not sure about RM 88400?

It looks like you're on the right track with the Roadmaster # RM-521440-5. I also recommend the Roadmaster # RM-155 lighting kit, because it will remain completely independent of the vehicle's lighting circuits.
Your BrakeMaster will work, but you'll need a seat adapter, part # RM-88287 and a # RM-751449 stoplight switch kit, which is compatible with vehicles with non-adjustable pedals only. Since your GC has a combined taillight system, you won't heed the # RM-88400 relay.
You won't need any adapter to attach the Sterling Tow Bar to the base plates, but you will need safety cables, part # RM-643 if you don't already have them.
Before attempting to flat tow your vehicle, I'd strongly urge you to consult the Recreational Towing Section of your owner's manual, beginning on page 548 and follow the guidelines listed there to the letter. Failure to do so could damage your vehicle.
I've linked you to some FAQ articles about flat towing.
