Which Way Should Hole in Wet Equalizer Bolt Face and Can a Locknut be Reused

Question:

Would like to know which way the hole in bolt should be facing? Up or down? Also can the lock nuts be used again? Thank you.

On the wet equalizer bolt # 126B2 it does not matter which way the hole faces. Up, down, left, right, anywhere in between, it's all good.

A lock nut has mismatched threads a little ways along the thread spiral and either its threads, the bolts threads, or both will get gnarled up so given that these are suspension pieces it would be a good idea to just replace whatever needs to be replaced instead of trying to keep reusing the same lock nut.

Really it is situational. The nut could be fine and if it stays tight like it is supposed to (check torque after 100 miles) then it is likely to stay fine.
