Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2003 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a 03 Toyota Tundra with short bed. Need the measurement to mount rails in bed. Also can a person order the side brackets and spacer kit separate. I have the rails just no hardware. I assume the bolts are Grade 8.

If you have a set of Husky rails already all you would need to install them in your 2003 Toyota Tundra with a short bed is the rail kit part # HT31563. This comes with everything needed to install the rails to your truck frame.
The correct king pin position relative to the rear axle center will vary slightly by vehicle but generally it will sit above or slightly forward of the rear axle. Position the assembled 5th wheel hitch so that its centerline is over the truck axle. Rear base rail should be located 30-7/8" from rear edge of bed.
