The Camco Garden Hose Y-Style Shut-Off Valve # CAM20113 is simple a way to convert your single garden hose to a dual hose style with individual shut-offs. There is no filter in it so the water would be just as safe as it was if you weren't using the # CAM20113.

The way the product angles out might make it easier to drink from though.
