Since only Class l hitches only are available for your 2015 Toyota Prius V, you will be limited to a 2-bike carrier.

I recommend the Thule Helium Aero, part # TH9042PRO. This is a 2-bike carrier and is constructed of lightweight aluminum. This carrier weighs just 18-1/4 lbs and has a weight capacity of 70 lbs or 35 lbs per bike. This bike carrier will tilt when empty to allow access to the rear cargo area of your Prius. The carrier also includes locks that secure the bikes to the carrier and secure the carrier to the vehicle.

I have attached a link to an installation video of this rack on a 2014 Prius you can check out. We will create videos when we get a chance on the vehicles but many times we do not have the vehicles on hand to be able to show how items work.

If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
