Maximum Crossbar Dimensions the Kuat Trio Will Fit
Question:
Im looking to purchase the kuat trio, but I know the thickness of my roof rack cross crossbars will not allow me to use the stock U-bolts or carrier bolts that come with the Kuat Trio. Do you have any suggestions?

The maximum crossbar dimensions that the Kuat Trio part # TR02 will fit is 3-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall.
If your crossbars are thicker than that the best solution I can come up with would be to go with an aftermarket rack, but without knowing what vehicle you have it would be hard for me to pick out the correct rack. So you would want to follow the attached link that will allow you to enter your year/make/model and all of the correct roof racks will be listed there. Since this rack is very versatile I am sure any rack you would could select would work.
