7 inch Rise/Drop High Low Adapter for Flat Towing a Jeep Wrangler

I purchased a Blue Ox Acclaim to tow my 2006 TJ Jeep Wrangler. It is my understanding that the coupler on the Acclaim needs to be level and there would be a 7inch drop of the tow bar at the connection point of the base plate. Now this will not work with my Jeep because it has 35inch tires with 4inch lift kit, I would need a ball mount with a 25inch rise. I need a tow bar that does not drop at the base plate rather it can handle a rise from the ball mount up to the bumper mounted base plate, can you help?

You are correct. When you are flat towing a vehicle you want the tow bar to sit as level as possible between the towed vehicle and the tow vehicle. To accomplish this you will need to get the appropriate rise/drop high-low adapter.

It sounds like you either need a 7 inch rise adapter or possibly a 25 inch rise adapter (we don't offer one that big).

For an adapter that would do 7 inches of rise or drop you would want the Blue Ox Adapter part # BX88241.
