Replacement Idler Hub for Bassmaster Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a old basstracker bass boat that needs a hub replaced. I managed to find the numbers 8-258 on the old hub. Its a 5 bolt 4.5. Which hub can be used? Im pretty sure its a idler hub since it just spins.

We do offer a few idler hubs that may work for you. Since the hubs we offer can vary per the bearings and races and seals they fit you will want to make sure you get the correct replacement.
The easiest way to find the right replacement is to check the numbers on the hub components as noted in the attached photo. We can then find the correct hub that is designed to work with that specific bearing, race, and seal.
If you are unable to find the numbers on the parts, you will want to use a digital or dial caliper to measure the spindle in the locations noted in the attached photo. Let me know the dimensions you come up with and I can make some recommendations that will work for you.
