Fender Lining Trimming Required to Install B and W Underbed Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 SRW this truck comes with wheel liners. I noticed in the review it said you can reach into the wheel well and engage/disengage the ball or hitch by using the handle. How do you gain access to the handle with a wheel liner installed? Secondly the main body has a power coat finish. What type of finish do the hardware/bolts, nuts, and pins have?

In the installation instructions for the B and W Companion Rail Kit part # BWGNRK1012-5W that you referenced it states that some trimming of fender liners can be required. If you check out the install video that I attached around the 1:15 mark we show how to remove the fender liner so that the hitch can be installed.
You'll notice that at the end of the video the handle for the hitch hangs lower than the fender liner so it didn't need to be trimmed. The vehicle in this video is a 2015 GM truck just like yours.
The install hardware uses a zinc plating.
