Jack Recommendation for a Vacuum Trailer with Limited Clearance
Question:
limited space for mounting. only have 8 inches from tongue on trailer to ground, when vacuum is mounted on tractor. Have tried to mount a jack, but do not have enough height to get the wheel in proper position when I try to apply same. Only need a jack that can lift about 4-5 inches max. Vacuum only weighs about 300 lbs. Would like too unhook vacuum and move same without lifting tongue off ground Thank you,

The best option I can come up with for you would be to use a Bulldog Square Jack w/ Footplate # BD190751. Since this is a weld on jack you can weld the outer tube very low on the jack to the trailer frame so that it would have enough clearance.
