Recommended Portable Supplemental Braking System for 2008 Honda CR-V
Question:
Hi can I use your Even Brake proportional system on my 2008 Honda CRV ? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster # RM-9400 EvenBrake is indeed compatible with your 2008 Honda CR-V. However, I'd recommend the similar Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR instead. The EvenBrake is air actuated, and in the event of back to back braking episodes, you might not get full braking actuation in the second braking event. The Blue Ox Patriot is fully electrically actuated, so it won't have that problem.
A stoplight switch # RM-751000 and a 12-volt outlet # RM-9332 is also recommended. I'll link you to some of our flat towing FAQ articles, which I hope you'll find helpful.
