No Power on Reese Brake Controller Installed on a 2004 Ford F-250

Question:

just hooked up a Reese trailer controller and I have no power on the harness in the truck. fuses are good. Is has a tow package which I connected to the color coded wires under dash.

If the harness you connected to is the factory brake controller harness on your 2004 Ford F-250 then the colors on it will not match up with the colors on the brake controller wires. On the brake controller, black is 12 volt power, white is ground, blue is output to the trailer brakes and red is input from the brake switch.

For your truck you could just use plug-in harness # 3035-P. I have linked a video that shows where these harnesses plug into on the truck.
