What is the allowable towing speed with a CE Smith Boat Trailer CE 48810. I need a trailer to transport a kayak sometimes 300 to 400 miles round trip?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since you are looking for a way to transport a kayak a much better solution for you would be a Yakima Rack and Roll trailer like part # Y08106 as this is rated for highway speeds. As always, exceeding posted speed limits is not recommended, especially when towing.
The CE Smith Boat Trailer for Boats and PWCs # CE48810 that you referenced uses 4.80/4.00-8 sized tires that are rated for 65 miles per hour like most trailer tires.
